Scholarship and Funding Advice

Reducing study costs with university scholarships, early-registration discounts and a funding plan.

Consultation 1,500 TRY

The cost of studying abroad is the main factor in the decision for many families. With proper planning, savings of 10-40% are possible on tuition, accommodation and living expenses.

Types of scholarship

  • University scholarships: percentage discounts for academic achievement, sport or leadership profile.
  • Government scholarships: programmes such as Chevening, DAAD and Erasmus Mundus; application calendars and conditions differ.
  • Language school discounts: early registration, long-course and family discounts.

Our advice

We list scholarship programmes that fit your profile, prepare the application calendar and review your motivation letter and CV. We give no guarantee on application results, but for most scholarships choosing the right application strategy increases the chance of selection.

Payment plan

School fees can be paid in one go or in instalments. To reduce the euro and dollar exchange-rate risk it is possible to stage payments and evaluate rate-locking options. We give independent information on bank or family financing but do not sell financial products.

Fee

A scholarship and funding consultation costs 1,500 TRY and is free for those who buy a package.

Scope of service

  • Scholarship programme matching
  • Early-registration discount plan
  • Exchange-rate risk and payment plan
  • Free with any package

Frequently asked questions

What is the advisory fee for? Does the school price go up?
The school price does not go up; it equals the school's official price list. Our service fee is stated separately and in writing in the contract for school comparison, registration, document and visa support, accommodation and post-arrival support. We also openly state that we receive commission from many partner schools.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. The first 30-minute consultation, at the office or online, is free and non-binding. At the end you are sent a written comparison of three schools.
From what age can one attend a language school abroad?
In adult language schools the minimum age is usually 16. For ages 12-17 there are supervised summer schools and youth programmes; for students under 18 parental consent and, in some countries, a local guardian are required.
What happens to the school fee if the visa is refused?
Most schools refund the deposit in full or largely when a visa refusal document is presented. We provide refund terms in writing before registration. In our service fee, a second school application after a visa refusal is free.
Can I work abroad?
Language-course students have no or very limited right to work in most countries. For university students limited work permission is possible depending on the country (e.g. Canada, Germany). Details are on the country pages; ask our adviser for current conditions.
